Welcome to MechLink. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MechLink website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using MechLink, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
- User: Any person using the Platform
- Customer: A user requesting repair or parts
- Mechanic: An independent repair service provider
- Seller: A spare-parts vendor
- Services: All features offered via MechLink
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement to use MechLink.
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities carried out under your account.
4. Platform Role
MechLink is a technology platform that connects customers with independent mechanics and sellers. MechLink does not perform repairs or sell spare parts directly.
5. Payments & Transactions
Payments may be processed through MechLink’s wallet or third-party payment providers. MechLink may deduct applicable service fees.
6. Reviews & Ratings
Users may submit reviews that must be truthful, respectful, and non-defamatory. MechLink reserves the right to remove violating content.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Fraudulent or unlawful activity
- Harassment or abuse of other users
- Bypassing platform fees
- Uploading malicious content
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of MechLink is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to data processing in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).
9. Account Suspension
MechLink may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or where required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MechLink shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
